The premiere schedule for Hulu in May 2024 has been announced and can be viewed below. The streaming service has also revealed the titles that will be leaving next month.
The Hulu originals for the month include The Contestant, The Kardashians Season 5, The Killing Kind, Lainey Wilson: Bell Bottom Country, Past Lies, Prom Dates, Shardlake, and Uncle Samsik. Films like Elvis, Ferrari, The Promised Land, and Where the Crawdads Sing will also be available.
Hulu gives viewers instant access to current shows from every major U.S. broadcast network, libraries of hit TV series and films, and acclaimed Hulu Originals. Check out the highlights below and read on for the full slate of titles coming to Hulu in May 2024.

Elvis (2022 – Streaming May 1)
The life of American music icon Elvis Presley, from his childhood to becoming a rock and movie star in the 1950s while maintaining a complex relationship with his manager, Colonel Tom Parker.
Jujutsu Kaisen 0 (2021 – Streaming May 1)
Yuta Okkotsu, a nervous high school student, enrolls in the mysterious Tokyo Jujutsu High School under the guidance of Satoru Gojo after being haunted by the curse of his childhood friend.
Naruto Shippuden: Complete Season 8 (DUBBED – Streaming May 1)
Naruto Uzumaki wants to be the best ninja in the land. He’s done well so far, but with the looming danger posed by the mysterious Akatsuki organization, Naruto knows he must train harder than ever and leaves his village for intense exercises that will push him to his limits.
Shardlake: Complete Season 1 (Hulu Original – Streaming May 1)
Drenched in mystery, suspense, and deception, this four-part drama, based on the first novel in C.J. Sansom’s internationally popular Tudor murder mystery series, is an eerie whodunnit adventure set in 16th century England during the dissolution of the monasteries. Shardlake’s sheltered life as a lawyer is turned upside down when Cromwell instructs him to investigate the murder of one of his commissioners at a monastery in the remote town of Scarnsea.
The commissioner was gathering evidence to close the monastery, and it is now imperative for Cromwell’s own political survival that Shardlake both solves the murder and closes the monastery. He leaves Shardlake in no doubt that failure is not an option.
Cromwell insists that he is accompanied by Jack Barak to Scarnsea, where the duo are met with hostility, suspicion, and paranoia by the monks who fear for their future and will seemingly stop at nothing to preserve their order.
The Contestant: Documentary Premiere (Hulu Original – Streaming May 2)
The Contestant is the incredible true story of a man who lived for 15 months trapped inside a small room, naked, starving, and alone … and completely unaware that his life was being broadcast on national TV in Japan to over 15 million viewers a week.
Jeopardy! Masters: Season 2 Premiere (ABC – Streaming May 2)
“Jeopardy! Masters” returns for its second annual tournament and will showcase the six highest-ranked current “Jeopardy!” contestants playing two action-packed games per hourlong episode. The high-stakes tournament will feature “Jeopardy! Masters” 2023 champion James Holzhauer, returning contestants Matt Amodio, Mattea Roach, and Amy Schneider, and newcomers Yogesh Raut and Victoria Groce.
Audiences will follow along as contestants go head-to-head for the ultimate grand prize of $500,000 and the title of “Jeopardy! Masters” Champion. The show is produced by Sony Pictures Television and hosted by the “GOAT” Ken Jennings.
FX’s Welcome to Wrexham: Season 3 Premiere (Streaming May 3)
Rob McElhenney (“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”) and Ryan Reynolds (“Deadpool”) navigate running the 3rd oldest professional football club in the world. Welcome to Wrexham is a docuseries tracking the dreams and worries of Wrexham, a working-class city in North Wales, UK, as two Hollywood stars guide the future of their historic Club.
For the first time in season three, with the team taking their place in the EFL, Welcome to Wrexham’s cameras will have unprecedented access to the pitch. They will bring viewers inside the locker room and alongside the players while the action unfolds in some of the biggest matches Wrexham AFC has ever played.
Prom Dates: Film Premiere (Hulu Original – Streaming May 3)
“Prom Dates” follows best friends Jess and Hannah, who made a pact at 13 to have the perfect senior prom. Despite the impending changes that college will bring over the next four years, the two are committed to honoring their prom pact.
However, with only 24 hours left before the big event, everything falls apart when they break up with each of their dates. Jess and Hannah are left with one night to find new dates and live out their middle-school fantasies.
Billy & Molly: An Otter Love Story: Special Premiere (National Geographic – Streaming May 7)
When a wild otter in desperate need of help washes up on a jetty in the remote Scottish islands of Shetland, Billy, his wife Susan, and their devoted sheepdog Jade find themselves with a unique new family member. From National Geographic and Silverback Films, “Billy & Molly: An Otter Love Story” is a heartwarming documentary film directed by Charlie Hamilton James and shot in 4K. It shows how love can reawaken us to the beauty of nature.
In Limbo: Complete Season 1 (Streaming May 8)
Nate (Bob Morley) is happy-go-lucky, with a good job and a loving family. So, when he commits suicide, his best friend Charlie (Ryan Corr) is hit by a wrecking ball of grief. The only thing harder than losing Nate is when he returns the next day as a ghost! Nate’s stuck in limbo and needs Charlie’s help to right some wrongs before he can cross into the afterlife.
Black Twitter: A People’s History: Complete Docuseries (Hulu Original – Streaming May 9)
Based on Jason Parham’s WIRED article “A People’s History of Black Twitter,” this three-part docuseries charts the rise, movements, voices, and memes that made Black Twitter an influential and dominant force in nearly every aspect of American politics and cultural life.
Kings of BBQ: Complete Season 1 (A&E – Streaming May 9)
“Kings of BBQ” Anthony Anderson and Cedric The Entertainer as they take their love of barbeque to the next level and work together to start their own barbeque empire, AC Barbeque.
Biosphere (2022 – Streaming May 10)
In the not-too-distant future, the last two men on Earth must adapt and evolve to save humanity.
Eileen (2023 – Streaming May 10)
Based on the book of the same name by bestselling author Ottessa Moshfegh, it is set during a bitter 1964 Massachusetts winter. Young secretary Eileen (Thomasin McKenzie) becomes enchanted by Rebecca (Anne Hathaway), the glamorous new counselor at the prison where she works. Their budding friendship takes a twisted turn when Rebecca reveals a dark secret, throwing Eileen onto a sinister path.
Past Lies: Complete Season 1 (Hulu Original – Streaming May 10)
“Past Lies” tells the story of a group of women whose stable, successful lives are suddenly shaken when the remains of one of their high school classmates, who disappeared during their senior year trip to Mallorca twenty-five years earlier, turn up.
Where the Crawdads Sing (2022 – Streaming May 12)
A woman who raised herself in the marshes of the Deep South becomes a suspect in the murder of a man with whom she was once involved.
The Killing Kind: Complete Season 1 (Streaming May 14)
“The Killing Kind” is based on Jane Casey’s best-selling book of the same name. Nobody understands the dark gap between justice and the law better than Ingrid Lewis. As a successful barrister, Ingrid is used to dealing with tricky clients, but no one rivals John Webster. Charming, good-looking, successful, and clever.
Webster was accused of coercive control by an ex-girlfriend, and in court, Ingrid successfully defended him, winning the case. Following the trial, Ingrid got close to Webster, too close, and when she tried to exit the relationship, he turned on her, and her world imploded. Royal Rules of Ohio: Season 1 Premiere (Freeform – Streaming May 16)
“Royal Rules of Ohio” is a documentary series following three Ghanaian sisters as they navigate their 20s in Columbus, Ohio. The Agyekum sisters live a lavish life as the daughters of royal descendants of two of the most wealthy and powerful Ghanaian kingdoms.
However, with that privilege comes great responsibility. Behind closed doors, viewers are given a glimpse into the sisters’ double lives, which could tarnish their family’s noble reputation.
Birth/Rebirth (2023 – Streaming May 17)
A morgue technician successfully reanimates the body of a little girl, but to keep her breathing, she will need to harvest biological materials from pregnant women. When the girl’s mother, a nurse, discovers her baby alive, they enter into a deal that forces them both down a dark path of no return.
The Sweet East (2023 – Streaming May 17)
A picaresque journey through the cities and woods of the Eastern seaboard of the U.S undertaken by Lillian, a high school senior from South Carolina. She gets her first glimpse of the wider world on a class trip to Washington, D.C.
Chief Detective 1958: Complete Season 1 (Hulu Original – Streaming May 22)
In “Chief Detective 1958,” we see Park Yeonghan, a pessimistic detective branded as a rebel after repeatedly defying the country’s military government. Stuck with the depressing task of removing homeless people off the streets of the capital, Yeonghan and his team’s passions will suddenly be reawakened as they work to catch a dangerous killer.
The Kardashians: Season 5 Premiere (Hulu Original – Streaming May 23)
Just when you think life can’t get any faster in the Kardashian-Jenner family, they punch it into overdrive. From the big screen to baby bliss, the family continues to defy expectations in all their endeavors. Lainey Wilson: Bell Bottom Country: Doc-Style Special Premiere (Hulu Original – Streaming May 29)
ABC News Studios is set to release a new doc-style special showcasing the journey of GRAMMY Award-winning country music sensation Lainey Wilson. This is one of several new projects currently in development by ABC News Studios’ production unit, which is led by Robin Roberts.
A decade after embarking on her journey from a rural farming town to pursue her dreams in Nashville, Wilson achieved a remarkable milestone with her first platinum-certified song. Garnering a dedicated following worldwide, she captivated fans with a unique blend of traditional country fused with a modern yet nostalgic style.

The Quiz with Balls: Series Premiere (FOX – Streaming May 29)
Hosted by actor and comedian Jay Pharoah, “The Quiz with Balls” is a game show that combines a high-stakes quiz show with a large-scale physical competition. Each episode features two families competing for $100,000 in a “battle of the balls.”. They must all work together as they face a multiple-choice quiz where each answer is allocated to a spot with a giant ball positioned up behind it.
If the correct answer is chosen, the ball rolls down and stops just before colliding with the player… if the answer is wrong, the massive ball rapidly descends and mercilessly whacks them into the pool below.
The Promised Land (2023 – Streaming May 30)
